ClickSend SMS and FunnelBud Integration

The Standard SMS sending solution allows you to send an SMS to any contact, by adding the message into a custom field and saving it. Also, you can check the SMS sending history within Contacts details. It includes DateTime stamps and text messages.
What this solution gives you

How this works

We set up an automation workflow in FunnelBud, whenever SMS custom field value changes it triggers the workflow to send SMS to the contacts.
- Before sending a request to Zapier, workflow checks if the contact has the Mobile Number and is subscribed to receive SMS.

The workflow sends this to Zapier and then ClickSend (SMS API service) sends the message to the contact.

Customers can send SMSs from workflows by editing the same field in that workflow, which then triggers the same setup.
- After the SMS is sent, the SMS History custom field is updated with Timestamp and the message text. Whenever a new message is sent it is added at the top and history is appended to the latest message sent.
How we will deliver this solution to you
- Create Clicksend Account & Send login details to us securely (via google docs).
- Add a credit card to the ClickSend account & enable auto-top-up for credits (so SMSs don’t suddenly stop sending).
- We will set up the FunnelBud Automation workflow and a Zap.
- We test the integration and deliver the solution.
- We provide you with training on how this integration works.
Cost to implement
- One-time setup fee: $250
- Support and maintenance: hourly rate, as needed
- Zapier: $20/month (waived if you already have a Zapier account with us)
- ClickSend fee is not included in this.
* Note:
1. We use Clicksend as our SMS provider as it integrates with Zapier and offers reliable service and support in our experience.
2. There may be some restrictions due to system delays and they can’t send multiple SMSs quickly one after the other (but they shouldn’t do that anyway)
